  • Tropheé Nationale International Fair of Record Companies and Music Publishers MIDEM in Cannes, France. The applause volume was measured during all festival concerts. While the applause of the singer Tom Jones reached 58 phones, newcomer Karel Gott surprised with 54 films. The French press no longer wrote about a promising singer the next day, but about a „natural phenomenon“. (1967)
